Photo calendars, on the storefront you already have

A calendar that can only start in January is a six-week product. Starting today, Picsha Cards sells one that starts in any month — so it sells in July.

One photograph, a full year, one sheet

A Picsha calendar is a single-sheet, year-at-a-glance design: the customer's photograph across the top, twelve month grids below it, their family name under the year. Three designs to choose between — photo above the months, larger months with a smaller photo, or the photograph filling the sheet with the year washed over it — each available in any of the eight looks the card catalog uses.

Two sizes, 8×10 and 11×14, priced per calendar rather than per pack. A customer buys one for the kitchen and three for the grandparents.

Nothing new in your lab

This is the part worth dwelling on: an 8×10 calendar is an 8×10 print. It goes down the minilab you already run, on paper you already stock, cut to a size you already sell. There is no binding, no wire, no new stock to order in, and nothing to quote. A paid order gives you one JPEG at the exact size at 300 dpi with no crop marks, plus the press PDF with bleed and marks — the same pair a card order gives you.

If you run Photogize Lab, point the calendar at the 8×10 or 11×14 print product already in your catalog and the order arrives in your queue like any other.

Starts in any month

The customer picks Starts in from the next eighteen months. A calendar bought in July can run August 2027 through July 2028 — the heading says exactly that, and each January carries its year so nobody has to work out which February they are looking at. US federal holidays are marked in the design's accent color, taken from the correct year on each side of the boundary, and the customer can pick out their own birthdays and anniversaries too. Weeks start on Sunday or Monday, their choice.

Off until you switch them on

Calendars have not been added to your storefront. They are a second product at a different price, so they are yours to turn on: open Prices in your admin page, find the Calendars section, and click Offer on the sizes you want. Suggested prices are filled in and are yours to change. Withdraw them just as easily when the season is over.
